Bruntwood Development in Leeds Increases in Popularity
Bruntwood, a leading commercial property firm in Northern England, recently announced the letting of an 8,300 square foot serviced office at 14 King Street in Leeds City Centre. The 27,000 square foot, grade A serviced office centre recently underwent extensive refurbishment and will become home to Gatenby Sanderson and Charles Stanley & Co, who will occupy 6,500 and 1,800 square feet of serviced office space.
The rental start the refurbished business centre off to a great start and the serviced office building is already proving popular with high specifications, air conditioning, and open plan office space for up to 6,700 square feet available on flexible and competitive terms. Due to the flexibility of the serviced office building, office space can be created from as little as 355 square feet to several thousand square feet.
Dr Oetker move UK Headquarters to Leeds Thorpe Park.
Commercial interior design and fit-out company MCI are delighted to have worked with food giant Dr Oetker on moving their UK headquarters to the Centrum building at Thorpe Park, Leeds. The project is now complete and the company has gained additional space for staff and for food testing areas.

MCI have transformed the Centrum building shell into a pleasant new working environment complete with partitioning, flooring, additional lighting, air conditioning, data cabling and audio visual equipment. Furniture then followed for meeting and training rooms, general office, reception, boardroom and dining facilities.

A Stockton telecommunications company has increased its turnover by almost 10% despite a slowdown in its industry. The company which provides manpower and expertise in the telecommunications industry has seen turnover increase from £600,000 to £650,000.

South Yorkshire Investment Fund (SYIF) has invested almost £2million in Sheffield’s businesses during the first six months of 2009.
With an economy now worth over £7 billion a year, and economic growth exceeding the national average, Sheffield’s economy is in robust shape. With key sectors in financial services, medical technology, metals processing & technology and digital & creative industries the evolving economy continues to bolster Sheffield’s international reputation.
Sheffield’s GVA (gross value added) increased by 60 per cent in recent years and, in 2006, it reached £8.7 billion. The overall economy experienced steady growth averaging around five per cent annually and, as such, has been growing at a higher rate than has been experienced in Yorkshire and the Humber in general.
£3m Transformation plans for Sheffield’s Ponds Forge
