Air Conditioning Specification Comparison

When comparing air conditioning manufacturers' equipment for a prospective installation, there are a number of factors to take into consideration:

  • The cooling and heating capacities available.
  • The number of indoor units that can be connected to one outdoor unit
  • The outdoor unit type; cooling only, heat pump or heat recovery.
  • The indoor styles available (cassettes, wall mounted, under-ceiling).
  • The elevation and separation capabilities (distance between the indoor and outdoor units).
  • The energy efficiency of the air conditioning system (EER and COP)

Heat Pumps – Collaboration Invited
